These data will not be combined with other data sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Contact Form and Email Inquiries
Purpose of Processing
When using our contact form, we collect and store your name and email address for the purpose of answering your inquiry. Providing a phone number for a callback is optional. If you send us a contact request by email, we collect and store the email address and the data contained in the email.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, as by using the form or sending an email, you consent to the processing of your data as described above. In addition, the legal basis also arises from Art. 6 (1) (b), as storing the data is necessary for fulfilling a pre-contractual or possibly later contractual relationship.
The data will be deleted once the purpose of storage no longer applies, i.e., after your email/contact form inquiry has been answered or the matter associated with the inquiry has been conclusively clarified.

For information on rights of deletion and access, see "Rights of Data Subjects."
Newsletter
Purpose of Processing
If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require your email address. Registration for the newsletter takes place via the double opt-in procedure. This means that after registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This procedure ensures that no one can register using someone else’s email address. Your registration for the newsletter is logged (storage of registration and confirmation time and IP address). The logging allows the registration process to be proven in accordance with legal requirements.
You may revoke your consent to the storage of your email address (and optionally your first and last name for personalized addressing) and their use for sending the newsletter, including associated performance measurement, at any time. A cancellation link is provided at the end of every newsletter. To prove consent previously given, we may store unsubscribed email addresses for up to 2 years before deletion.
Legal basis for sending newsletters and related performance measurement: This is carried out on the basis of the recipient’s consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Art. 7 GDPR in conjunction with § 7 (2) No. 3 UWG, or based on legal permission pursuant to § 7 (3) UWG.
Additionally, Art. 6 (1) (f): Our legitimate interest in performance measurement arises from recognizing our users’ reading habits based on newsletter openings, open times, and clicked links, in order to create and send interest-based and useful content.
Legal basis for logging is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from operating a secure and user-friendly newsletter system that is useful for sending and protects the personal data of newsletter subscribers. It also allows us to prove consent.
Online Applications
Purpose of Processing
If you apply to us in response to a job advertisement, we will collect your personal data such as first name, last name, address, phone number, email address, attachments (cover letter, CV, certificates, photo), and store them for the duration of the selection process.

Your data will be used exclusively by authorized personnel in the HR department or management for processing within the selection process. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties.
If the specific position you applied for has already been filled but your profile is suitable for future employment or employment with a partner or subsidiary company, we will obtain your explicit consent before storing or forwarding your application, unless you have already consented to such storage or forwarding in your application.
If you submit an unsolicited application to our general contact email address, the content of your application email may be seen by unauthorized personnel. If you wish to avoid this, please contact us by phone before submitting an unsolicited application to obtain the contact details of the correct person.
Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, for processing pre-contractual measures.
Unless you inform us otherwise, data will be deleted 6 months after completion of the application process, or destroyed in the case of postal applications. Due to long recruitment and selection periods for trainees, we store their data in Germany for up to 18 months.
Provided the respective legal requirements are met, you have the following rights: right of access to your stored data; rectification, deletion, restriction of processing of your data, or objection to processing, as well as data portability.
