Fixtures specially adapted to the customer's components guarantee secure workpiece placement and fixing with simultaneous accessibility of the features to be measured. Aumann's own system with individual measuring reference points on the component fixtures enables the highest accuracy, a costly tracking of the laser head by expensive laser trackers is no longer necessary.

The 3D data obtained is used to detect the position and location of bores and holes as well as their presence and possible defects, and also to evaluate form tolerances such as parallelism, flatness etc.
