Aumann has implemented worldwide assembly solutions for the series production of steering sensors. Several automation concepts have been implemented, ranging from fully automated systems to flexible chaku-chaku concepts tailored to specific customer requirements. Our core competencies lie in the diverse manufacturing processes we use. Due to the safety relevance of the component, the highest demands are placed on quality, testing processes and traceability. As core processes, the assembly systems include various joining, assembly, application, adjustment and testing processes. In addition to the core processes, automated feeding,- separating and packing processes are also implemented. The transport of components takes place station-internally mainly via handling robots, between the stations via an autonomous shuttle system. A flexible setup between different variants is possible. On our fully automated assembly lines, steering sensors with a cycle time of approx. 16s are produced by a plant operator.
