How to apply correctly: Five good tips for a good application

In order to find out whether Aumann is the right training organisation for you and you are right for us, we continue to focus on personal interviews. The basis for this is your application with cover letter, CV and references. The following tips provide you with information on what you should consider when applying:

#1: Component parts of an expressive application

Your application should include a cover letter, a CV in list form, school references and proof(s) of internship. The style of your cover letter should match your personality. You are quite welcome to show a little courage, to be yourself. Copying everything one-to-one from guidebooks is much less impressive. Impress us with your own thoughts and ideas.

#2: Tell us about your personal strengths

What special skills and strengths do you possess? What do you enjoy in your spare time? Tell us about it! This makes you as a person and your application exciting and sets you apart from other applicants.

#3: Demonstrate to us that you have learnt as much about us as possible

What does Aumann do exactly? What differentiates us from other mechanical engineering companies? You will find the necessary information in various areas on our website. Use this in your application and demonstrate that you have researched Aumann and the opportunities available to you with us.

#4: One final application check

Once you have finished writing your application, have somebody else read through it. You application should not contain any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. Also, check once more that the contact person and the address is correct, and that you have included all of the necessary documentation.

#5: Sending your application

The best method of applying is to use our online application tool or by sending your application as a pdf file via e-mail. In order to protect the environment, we ask you to refrain from sending us a hardcopy application through the post. We will contact you promptly upon receipt of your application.
